Three Pines score
with Wolverhampton Wanderers ...
January 2005
When
the Wolverhampton Wanderers football ground was earmarked
for a refurbishment programme, no one could have anticipated
just how huge the project would become.
Initially just the Billy
Wright stand at the Molineux was due for a face lift, however
once building contractors Three Pines Building Co. Ltd. showed
just what they were capable of, more and more work was planned.
Stadium manager Steve Sutton
explains: “We have employed Three Pines to carry out
general building and maintenance works for some time now and
when this redevelopment programme was proposed, they offered
the best service compared to all their competitors.
“Initially
funding was put aside just to redevelop the stand, but as
Three Pines got started we realised many other areas, which
had not been touched for more than a decade, could also do
with a face lift.”
Soon the reception area
and toilets were also developed. Three Pines carried out all
aspects of the contract including ceilings, lighting, wall
décor, internal doors, display areas and a modern reception
desk.
Alan
Bradshaw from Wolverhampton based Three Pines comments: “We
have an excellent working relationship with the football ground
so we were delighted to be chosen for this contract. The conference
and banqueting area of the stadium is a prestigious business
venue and we felt confident we could bring it up to date ready
for 2005. This included installing an impressive new reception
desk and a display area to demonstrate the club’s success
through its many awards and trophies. ”
Steve
concludes: “We are delighted with the service we received
from Three Pines. Both our employees and customers now comment
on the high quality and excellent finish in the newly improved
areas. We now hope to build on the already huge success of
the stadium by offering a first class venue.”
